'Played Lines'

I hate when people say lines are 'played' i think almost any line you can think of has been said before, its all about how you build up that line...they expect people to google their lines before they write them down or something..lol fools

I agree. The english language is only so big. And the second you try to expand your vocabualry, they say dumb it down or its not a hit. Or your too politcal for people to listen to. Lupe has gotten a lot of criticism for that. Not that all his flows are complicated but just like a good book, the meaning doesnt always come to you right away till you study and talk about it. Though it is genius, it is something that will not be recognized until he is dead and gone unfortunatly.

Everybody in the game bites lyrics. Almost all of Tupac and Biggies line especially, have been used by somebody. And its almost always used on as hit song.

I agree Fuego, some people say he raps too fast. Lupe is a genius, so stupid people feel insulted when listening to him. I remember i thought of something and people on another site told me that my line was 'played out' cuz i said ' he's delusions if he thinks he's gonna advance, im not tieing ya lines but there's knot a chance' assholes how am i supposed to know?
